UniLaSalle is creating AgriLab, its living laboratory for digital manufacturing for tomorrow’s agriculture.

AgriLab is located on the Beauvais campus and has been set up on an experimental farm of more than 190 ha. This « new generation » laboratory is going to include, among others, a rapid prototyping platform in digital technologies (robotics, collaboration platforms, mass data processing and decision support tools), agro-equipment, different plant biology laboratories, primary processing platforms of agricultural products as well as experimental platforms in renewable energies.

Agrilab is going to be accessible to all stakeholders: farmers, innovators, students, instructors, researchers, entrepreneurs, industrialists, etc. Dedicated to “2.0”open innovation, this space will promote Open Source & Open Hardware Initiatives. As such, it is going to be part of the worldwide movement of free knowledge exchange for a more sustainable agriculture.

To date, AgriLab is being financed by the Beauvaisis Urban Community, the Oise County Council, the Hauts-de-France Regional Council and UniLaSalle. It will open its doors in the Spring of 2018.
